Olafía Jóhannsdóttir

We proudly presents day-trips from Reykavík to magnificent places, historical sites, with a touch of Iceland's unique culture, and an opportunity to spend some time at local farms.

Our aim is to provide exclusive, friendly and enjoyable trips for travelers, always with the personal touch, giving you a unique glimpse of Iceland, it's people and it's folkore.

Our tour-guides speak English, Danish, German and Icelandic.

Our tours

Our tours are tailor-made to your group's requirements and for your enjoyment. You will be accompanied by Icelandic artists and actors who serve as your tour guide and storyteller during the trip.

We will take you to famous historical sights or remote, magical landscapes, rich with bird life. We will enter caves, view magnificent volcanoes and glaciers and tell you stories related to the places we visit. You will dine on traditional home cooked Icelandic delicacies at genuine farmsteads and welcoming homes in this fascinating land of the midnight sun.

The comfortable people carriers take a max of 22 people and a min of 6 for each trip. Smaller and larger parties can be arranged.

Halldór Laxness

To give you an idea of what it feels like to drive towards a glacier, we can use the words of our Nobel Prize winner in literature 1954 Halldor Laxness:

"Where the glacier meets the sky, the land ceases to be earth and the earth becomes one with heaven. Here no sorrows live, nor unnecessary joy; beauty alone reigns there, demanding nothing more."
